Consul General Xu Jie Attended Opening Ceremony of Griffith University's CEPH Hub
On 22nd July, Consul General Dr Xu Jie attended and addressed the Opening of Griffith University's Centre for Environment and Population Health (CEPH) Hub for Global Health Security. Vice Chancellor and President of Griffith University Prof. Evans, Dr. Xu and other representatives from Consular Cops in Queensland jointly cut the ribbon and unveiled the plaque.

Dr Xu congratulated the establishment of CEPH Hub, stressed the need for all countries to work together in addressing global climate change and health risks, and spoke highly of the long-term friendly cooperation between Griffith University and its Chinese partners. He briefed the "Healthy China" Initiative and introduced the great achievements of China in medical and health care for the well-being of the people by advocating international cooperation.
Griffith CEPH Hub set to bring together global scientific researchers fighting extreme weather-related events and disease outbreaks. It now has partners from 15 countries, and includes 3 country program offices (China, Indonesia and Vietnam).
